Information, not insurance advice
TowCover is an independent information website. It is not an insurance agency, broker or carrier and does not sell, solicit or negotiate insurance. It does not provide quotes, recommend coverage, limits, carriers or policies, or decide whether any policy meets your needs or a program’s rules. The guides and tools explain general concepts and help you prepare questions. Only a licensed agency can advise on coverage for your operation, and only the policy wording decides what is covered.
Requirements and accuracy
Where TowCover records a requirement set by a government authority, it links the written source and shows the date the entry was last checked. Authorities change their requirements, and an entry can fall out of date between checks. Always confirm the current written requirement with the issuing authority before you rely on it. If you find an error, email the page address and the official source to hello@towcover.com.
Tools
The Coverage Builder, Underwriter’s View and call-ready packet run in your browser and produce educational checklists and questions. Their output is not a coverage recommendation, an application or proof of insurance.
Sponsored placements
A licensed agency can pay a flat monthly fee to appear as a state’s sponsor. Every paid placement is labelled Sponsored, and the fee never depends on policies sold, premiums or the outcome of a call. A placement is advertising, not an endorsement. TowCover checks a sponsor’s agency identity and state license before a placement goes live, and each listing links to the official license lookup so you can check it yourself. Any conversation, quote or policy is between you and the agency. TowCover is not a party to it and is not responsible for an agency’s advice, products or conduct.
Links to other sites
TowCover links to government authorities, licensed agencies and other sources it does not control. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices.
Using the site
You may use TowCover for your own information and business planning. Please do not:
- interfere with the site or try to get around its security;
- copy the site wholesale or republish it as your own;
- present TowCover content in a way that suggests TowCover recommends, endorses or sells insurance.
Content and ownership
The site’s text, design, tools and images belong to TowCover and are protected by copyright. Statutes, regulations and other public-law text quoted on the site belong to no one, and you may use them freely. To reuse TowCover’s own content beyond a short quotation with a link, email hello@towcover.com.

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. TowCover does not warrant that any requirement shown is current or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TowCover and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business or data, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it, including dealings with a sponsored agency. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

TowCover may update these terms. The version on this page applies from its effective date, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
