TowCover does not ask you for personal information. There are no accounts, forms, sign-ups, chat widgets or tracking cookies on this site. Like every website, it relies on a host that processes basic request data to deliver pages. This policy explains exactly what is processed, by whom, and why.
Who runs this site

Information our host processes
TowCover is hosted on Vercel. When your browser requests a page, Vercel receives the standard information every web request carries: your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, the page requested, the page that linked to it and the time of the request. Vercel uses this to deliver the site, keep it secure and keep request logs, which it retains under its own policies. TowCover does not use this information to identify visitors and does not combine it with any other data. Vercel’s practices are described in its privacy policy.
Preferences kept in your browser
If you choose a state, or switch to the light theme, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember it. It stays on your device and is never sent to TowCover. Clear it by choosing “Choose your state” again, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Answers you enter in the Coverage Builder and the call-ready checklist stay in the open page and are cleared when you reload it.
Analytics
TowCover measures traffic with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. It reports aggregate figures such as page views and visitor counts by page, referring site, country, device type and browser. TowCover uses these totals to understand which guides are read and to report state page views to a state’s sponsor. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking.
If you email us
If you write to hello@towcover.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and keep it in our mailbox. Please do not send policy documents, driver records or other private information.
Advertising
Sponsored placements are static text and links. They set no cookies and run no scripts. TowCover does not run display advertising. If that changes, this section will describe the provider and any choices it requires before the first ad appears.
Links to other sites
TowCover links to licensed agencies, government authorities and other sources. When you follow a link or call an agency, that organization’s own privacy practices apply to what you share with it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share personal information.
- We do not use targeted or cross-site advertising.
- We do not build profiles of visitors. Because nothing on the site tracks you, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal to switch off.
Children
TowCover is written for people running towing businesses. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, loads no third-party scripts and uses a strict content security policy that blocks scripts from other origins.
Your questions and requests
TowCover does not keep personal information about visitors beyond any email you send us. To ask what we hold about you, or to have an email conversation deleted, write to hello@towcover.com.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts processing information in a new way, this page will be updated first and its effective date changed.
